Bringing Sunshine to the Adoption Event

It was FREEZING on Sunday! Our wonderful volunteers turned out in big numbers to play and show dogs off to help find them their forever homes...

No pun intended... but Lucky Dog brought SUNSHINE to the event to warm up everyones' day. Luckily for her little chihuahua body, she was one of the lucky few allowed in the store to stay warm.

Little Miss Sunshine sat and snuggled in Pam's lap and was loving life. She was so well behaved. Don't let that fool you though, she is a little puppy ball of energy at her fosters home!

Update to the Sunshine!

Sunshine is doing great, eating great, and having a good time! She is doing well on her housebreaking too. For those of you who know that chi's and cold don't mix, that is quite impressive! Sunshine is loving her fosters and curls up under their blanket on the couch and takes little naps. Everyone she meets is in love with her and looks forward little wag.
She has even started using her leg, but we are being really careful to keep her on the leash while she still recovers.
Her first PT session will be in about a week, so everything is progressing well!
